Informations of Witnesses taken at the parish of
Saint Bartholomew the Great in the Wood of
Farringdon without in London the 9th. October
1792 on view of the body of Mary Spencer< no role >
there lying dead.

John Palmer< no role > Servant living at the White Sworn Inn
Holborn bridge maketh oath that on the 6th. instant in the
afternoon Dept saw a Cart belonging to Mr. Erasmus Taylor< no role >
of Bishopsgate street London Carman drawn by two horses
coming out of the [..] Swan two Yard, and at the same time he
saw the deced coming from Holborn to cross the Inn gateway &
up the HillThat he presently saw the deced down, with her
legs lying a cross the Gateway other body back upon the foot pavemt.
& he saw the off wheel pass over both her less. several people called
out but not time to present the mischief. Says the Carman Stopped
immedy. that the Cart was going very slow, only a gentle walk,
that dept believs the deced had shipped down, & Her the Cart
going over her was entirely accidental. Says she was afterwards
taken to Saint Barthws. Hospital where she died on Sunday as
Dept has been informed her right thigh having been broken.
