An Inquisition Indented taken for our Sovereign Lord< no role > the King at the Parish of Saint Bennet
Paulswharf in the Ward of Castle baynard in London aforesaid on the twelfth day of July in the
thirty first year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord< no role > George the third by the Grace of God of Great
Britain France< no role > and Ireland King Defender of the Faith and soforth Before Thomas Shelton< no role >
Gentleman Coroner of our said Lord the King for the City of London and Borough of Southwark
on view of the Body of William Williamson< no role > now here lying dead by the Oath of Stephen Wolfe< no role >
Silbury Williams< no role > John Chadsey< no role > Denis Bilton< no role > John Bilion< no role > John Seragg William Mott< no role > Charles
Burton Thomas< no role > Worster James Tovey< no role > Charles Horn< no role > John Briston< no role > Richard Hole and
Thomas Haykew good and lawful man of the Parish and Ward aforesaid who being now here
duly Chorn Sworn and Charged to inquire for our said Lord the King when how and in what manner
the said William Williamson< no role > came to his death say upon their Oath that the said William Williamson< no role >
the ninth day of July in the Year aforesaid being in and on board a Certain Boat on the River
Thames It so happened that the said William Williamson< no role > accidentally casually and by misfortune
fell from and out of the said Boat into the said River Thames and in and with the Waters of the
said River was then and there Suffocated and Drowned of which said Suffocation and
drowning the said William Williamson< no role > did then and there die and so the Jurors
aforesaid upon their Oath aforesaid do say that the said William Williamson< no role > in manner
and by the means aforesaid accidentally and by misfortune was suffocated and
drowned In Witness whereof as well the said Coroner as the said Stephen Wolfe< no role >
the Foreman of the said Jurors on behalf of himself and the rest of his Fellows have
in their presence to this Inquisition set their Hands and Seals the day Year and
Place first above Written
