Carpenter
maketh Oath that about the hour of men in the Evening of Tuesday
last the 21st instant he saw the deced James Gaky employed in loading
some Iron Swisels placed an Wooden Carriage in Cumberland
Gardens
in the Parish of Saint Mary Lambeth
in the County aforesaid
Deptthat soon after Dept being otherwise employed heard a very
great Report from the explosion of one of the Swivels
and sawsome person
after into of allsomething fall into the water falling the Garden situate
on looking wound he saw the deced lying on the Ground with a
great quantity of Wood under himthat he appeared to head
received very great injury in both his Thighsthatonin a little
time after Dept. and some other persons took the deced in a Boat
and conveyed him by water to pepper Ally Hair London Bridge
and from thence to Guys Hospital that Dept left the deced
at Guys Hospital that at the time Dept. left him at the Hospital
he appeared to be nearly dead.
