maketh Oath that between
the house of 4 & 5 in the afternoon of Tuesday last Dept. and one
William Clemensons< no role >
a Lad about seventeen Year of Age who was with
Dept on liking in a dead to be taken as an apprentice to Dept
wear in a Light to belonging to Dept. off the Hambrough
Her in the River Thames
opposite Saint Catherine Dock in
the County of Middlesex
that Dept was in the Horn of the Lighter
and said Clemenson in the head of her that the Lighter being
after art the of the ships lying in the River Dept. was employed
hurting with an bar against the ship in order to egreabovethe
higher tofromthe ship and whilst Dept was so doing he heard
some person in a Barge legs Dept Lighter say led go the Par and of Dept looking round he
missed said Clemenson from out of the lighter and saw a kind of
splashing in the water near Dept lighter Bow as if something
had fallen into the Water and Dept has every reason to believe
that said Cleverson had by some accidentfallingout of the
Lighter into the Water missing him at this time and to Craft
being near enough for any person to come into Dept. Lighter or
for said Cleverson to get rent of Dept Lighter
