Informations of Witnesses taken at the
parish of Saint Pancras Soper lane
in the Ward of Cheap in London the 15th.
day of Octor 1788 on view of the body of
Aim Barrer there lying dead

Thomas Maycock< no role > Servant to Mr. Joshua Long< no role >
of Cheapside London Grocer maketh oath that last
Saturday as Dept & the boy and the deced were sitting together
at Dinner she complained of being destitute & Led no piend and
dared not go just her father That the same afternoon
between three & four o'Clock dept was desired to look for the
deced also was missing, that he went up to her Bed Room
the door of which had been observed was fastened, & burst
open the door, & the deced was hanging to the [..] at the
foot of the bedDept went down stairs, but afterwards
returned & out her downa Surgeon was then sent for.

Grocer maketh oath that the deced was Peice of
Dept. Wife is that she used to be at Dept. house when out
applied. Says she had formed an intimacy with a young
man a Waterman ; that the deced often expressed herself
to dept that if he would not have her she would destroy
herselfdept exportulated with her & she sayed she
had [..] deced of it a good dealThat this happened [..] one
orthreetwo years agoThat within these last twelve months
he has occasionally called on Dept, she abrays appeared to be
very unhappy & her mind seemed to dwell much on the
afsd. Youngman
