Soper Lane in the Ward of Cheap
in London aforesaid on the fifteenth day of December in the twenty ninth
year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third
by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of
the Faith Etc. before

aforesaid who being now here duly chosen sworn and charged to inquire
for our said Lord the King when how and in what manner the said Ann Boarer came to her death say upon their oath that the
said Ann Boarer not being of sound mind memory and understanding but lunatic and distracted on the thirteenth day of
December in the twenty ninth year aforesaid at the Parish and Ward aforesaid in London
aforesaid one end of a certain small piece of
Cord of no value to and about the Taller of a Bedstead in a certain Room in the Dwelling house of one

the other end of the said Cord round and about her own Neck did then and there fix tye and fasten By means whereof she the said
Ann Boarer did then and there hangle strangle and suffocate herself Of which said hanging strangling and suffocation she the
said Ann Boarer did then and there die And so the Jurors aforesaid upon their oath aforesaid do say that the said Ann Boarer and
being of sound mind memory and understanding but lunatic and distracted did then and there hand and kill herself
