An Abstract of all the Standing Orders of Vestry relating
to the Parish of Saint Dyonis Back church

23 April 1652

Ordered That a Vestry shall consist of twelve persons, besides the
Two Church Wardens.

3 March 1676

That the Scavengers and Collectors for the Poor do give their Accounts to
the Church Wardens, and three or Four of the Antients of the parish,
and pay the Ballance to the Upper Church Warden , and he to Reimburse
them, if out of Purse.

31 March 1687

That The Collectors do Collect Quarterly.

19 April 1677

That no person chosen Church Warden be Admitted to Fine Except at the
time he is chose for the first Year, he Fines for both Years together.

That The Upper Church Warden do serve the Office Two Years, Incase
there be not a person to serve, that hath served Under Church Warden before

12 April 1683..

That The Constables shall out with the Sidesmen on the Sidesmens
Pew.

27 June 1683

That no Church Warden shall pay out of the parish Stock at any One
time above Forty shillings Without Order of Vestry, And that on
all Occasions of business touching the parish, the Church Wardens be
Consulted.

That The Parishioners shall be Seated or Removed by the Minister
the Two Church Wardens, and Six more of the parish who have Served
the Office of Church Warden.

Order for a Dinner to be provided on Assension Day

That The Order of 3d March 1676 For the Collectors to be
Accountable to the Church Wardens be Confirmed.
