of his Bill which he had refused to Accept and had since
Caused him and Mr Richard James< no role >
the other Church Warden
to be Served with Coppys of a Writ for Non Payment of the
Bill He therefore thought it very Proper to lay it before
the Vestry for their Advice and Direction how to Act
whereon Debates arose and at last a Question was propos [..]
and stated.
Whether this Vestry shoud abide with the Major
part of the Committe in their Resolution with Respect to
the Sum to be paid Mr Chapman as Surveyor or not [..] And
the said Question being accordingly put it was Carryed
in the Negative
It was then Moved That Mr Chapman shoud be
paid his whole Bill: and the Question being also put It
past in the Affirmative
Ordered That Mr Church Warden Pope do Pay Mr
Chapman his whole Bill of £49..8..0.
