At a Meeting of the Inhabitants of the North & South
Precincts of this Parish held the 13th day of December 1757

Mr Church Warden Bagley acquainted the gentlemen
present That the end of this meeting was for the Choice of Ward
Officers for the year ensuing Vizt Constables Scavengers and
Inquest Men

And Mr Frederick Pigon< no role > being the first in nomination was
put up to serve the offices of Constable Scavenger & Inquest
man for the year ensuing and Chose But Mr Pigou desiring to
be admitted to Fine for the said Offices Mr Peter Pope< no role > moved That
Mr Pigou might be Excused from serving the said Offices On paying
the present Fine of Twenty Pounds and the Question being putt on
the said motion It past in the Affirmative

Ordered Mr Frederick Pigou< no role > be Excused from serving the Office
of Constable Scavenger and Inquest man on paying of the Fine
of Twenty Pounds

Then Mr Abraham Lacey< no role > being next in nomination was put
up to serve the said Offices of Constable Scavenger and Inquest
Man But Excused for one year being Poor

Then Mr Abraham Levi< no role > was putt up to serve the offices of
Constable Scavenger and Inquest man for the year ensuing in the
Room of Mr Lacey< no role > and Chose But Mr Levi being present at this
Meeting desired to be Excused from serving the said Offices on
Paying the present Fine of £20 It was therefore moved That Mr Levi be
admitted to Fine and the Question being putt on the said motion
It was Carried in the affirmative

Ordered Mr Abraham Levi< no role > be Excused from serving the
Offices of Constable Scavenger and Inquest Man on paying the
Fine of Twenty Pounds.
