Mr Church Warden Pope acquainted the gentlemen
present That the Occasion of this meeting was for the
Choice of ward Officers for the year ensuing Vizt.
Constables Scavengers and Inquest Men.

And Mr Thomas Kinman< no role > being the first in
Nomination was put up to serve the offices of Constable
Scavenger and Inquest man for the year ensuing and chose
And Joseph Chaplin Hankey< no role > Esqr being next in
Nomination It was moved by Mr Hebert Junior that Mr
Hankey might be admitted to pass over his ward offices
on paying the Fine of £20 and the Question being putt
on the said Motion It past in the affirmative

Ordered That Joseph Chaplin< no role > Hankey Esqr be
admitted to pass over his Ward Offices on paying the
Fine of £20.

Then Mr John Barnard< no role > being next in nomination
was put up to serve the offices of Constable Scavenger
and Inquest man for the year ensuing and Chose
And Mr Henry Newton< no role > was put up to serve the
office of Second years Inquest Man and Chose

Then Mr Thomas Wright< no role > and Mr Robert Scouthroupe< no role >
were severally put up and Ordered to be Returned
to the wardmote for Collectors of the Lamp Tax for
the year ensuing

Afterwards It was moved by Mr Reynolds That
Mr William Chesson< no role > might be admitted to pass over
his Ward offices on paying the Fine of Twenty pounds
and the Question being put on the said motion
It past in the affirmative

Ordered That Mr William Chesson< no role > be admitted
to pass over his Ward Offices on paying the Fine
of Twenty pounds.
