Court Day June the 5th:1739 Continued

Percivall Lewis< no role > Esqr . appeared and repeated his request to this Court to add a further Term to
his Lease of the Companys Premisses is Lymestreet on the following Terms Vizt.
A Copy of Mr. Lewis's Proposall wrote with his own hand writing at this Court which he
desired might be delivered to him in July Court 1739 which Accordingly inclosed in a Penny
Post Letter directed for him at his Seat at Putney in Surrey the 13th. July 1739
That in Consideration of a Term of 21 Years to be added to the Present Lease from the
Carpenters Company to Percivall Lewis< no role > under the same Rent and Covenants. The said Percivall
Lewis will Grant and Convey to the said Carpenters Company or Assure to them after the
Expiration of the said Companys Lease to Samuel Kent< no role > Esqr . a Peice of Freehold Ground
now a Garden with the Appurtenances to the said Company of Carpenter , their Heirs &
Successers for ever-The said Percivall Lewis< no role > upon the Grant of the said Term above doth
further Oblige himself to layout the sume of two hundred Pounds in Substantiall Repaires
on the Premisses

Ordered that Mr. Samuel Bennett< no role > Smith, Mr. Robert Plimpton< no role > Junr . Mr. Willm. Bigg< no role >
and Mr. Leonard Phillips< no role > be sumoned to Appeare at the Hall the 23d: instant to take
the Cloathing of the Livery on them

Order to be a Comittee
to Veiw Mr. Hankeys Wall}

Ordered that the Master and Wardens be a Committee veiw Mr. Hankey's Wall and
to Report their Opinion next Court day

To Veiw the Thomas at
Henley}

The Master and Wardens to go to View the Premisses at Henley when they Please

To Preferr an Indictment
agt. Roger Morris< no role > }

Ordered That the Clerk do Preferr an Indictment and Prosecute the same against
Roger Mooris< no role > for Exercising the Trade of a Carpenter not having served seven Years
to the said Trade

Mr. Grayson excused from
the house he look of ye. Co.}

Mr. Grayson now gave his Note for two Guineas to Mr. Warden Hawkins for
being excused from the House he took in the New Buildings in London Wall

Ordered That Master Osgood do give his Man Savage £1:13s:4d which was
Received of Thomas Smith< no role > for not being Free
