who was bound to Thomas Barnard< no role > Citizen and Carpenter of London and assigned to John Day< no role >

Opinion on Stat 5': Eliz:}

The Clerk read att this Court Mr Strange the Sollicitor Generall's Opinion touching Persons
who exercise the trade of a Carpenter who have not served seven Years to the said Trade Thereupon
and on debate of the Matter It is hereby Ordered and agreed That when any Person shall be
Complained off to this Court that this Court shall think proper to be prosecuted Then they will give
Proper Orders for that purpose

Ordered That the Clerk of this Company Prepare a Peticon Agst the next Court to lay before
The Duke of Argyle touching his imploying a Person as a Carpenter(who was bred a
Bricklayer)Contrary to the Act of Parliament in such Case made and provided

£5 to be paid to Mr Barlones
Dat on quitting possion of
the Beadle's house}

The Daughters of the late Mr Barlow the Beadle petitioned this Court for releife Thereupon
And this Court Considering their Poverty Do order That Mr Warden Hawkins do pay them
Five Pounds in Case they quit possession of the Companys house on or before this day
seven night

The Company this day lett The House No:5 in the Carpenters Buildings att London Wall
for One year Certain and half a years Warning to Commence from Midsr day next under the
yearly rent of £18 payable Quarterly And such other Agreemts as are mentioned in the
Companys Minute Book of this day
