Case the Churchwardens and Overseers or any of them shall be
indicted or otherwise prosecuted for such Non Compliance, they
be defended at the Expence of the Parish, and If the Pros [..]
shall be by Indictment at the Session of the Peace, that
the same be removed by Certiorari into the Court of King's
Bench at the Parish Expence And that the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor and every of them be indempnified
and saved harmless by the Parish from and against all
Costs Charges Expences and Damages, any ways relating
to their Paid Defence And Mr Joseph Wise< no role > , Mr. Edward
Gibbs
< no role > , Mr George Ritherdon< no role > , Mr William Brander< no role > and Mr.
William Coles< no role > be and they are hereby appointed a
Committee for the conducting and management of the
said defence

Voted and Ordered the Thanks of this Vestry
to Mr Joseph Wise< no role > , for the great Care and pains taken
by him, and for the Trouble he has already been at,
before the several Magistrates & otherwise relative to the
aforesaid Matter about Atias & Family.
