Mary Kelly< no role > widow of Martin Kelly< no role >
deced maketh oath that about twenty Years ago her
said late husband rented a house of the Yearly rent
of nine Pounds & ten shillings on Great Saffron hill
in the Liberty of Saffron Hill in the Parish of Saint
Andrew Holborn in the said County & during such
his residence therein he was charged to and paid
Kings Taxes for the same she this Deponent having
at times been present when her said husband paid
such Tax to Mr Finamore the Collector thereof
That her said husband did not afterwards rent a house
of the Yearly rent or Value of Ten Pounds or upwards
or serve any Parish office or pay any Poors Rates
or Kings Taxes or do any Act to gain a Settlement
elsewhere nor hath she this Deponent since his
death done any Act to gain a Settlement for
herself That she was lawfully married to her sd
husband & that such receipts so given for the
Land Tax as aforesd were delivered up by this
Deponents husband to Mr Mashiter of Baldwins
Gardens Leather Lane his Landford upon his pay
him the Rent due for the sd house
