Ann Gravidear< no role > maketh oath that she
is the widow of Francis Gravidear< no role > deced who was by birth
a Frenchman & never did any act to gain a Settlemt.
in England to her Knowledge or belief That previous
to her said marriage she was bound Apprentice by
the then parish officers of St Matthew Bethmall Green
in the sd County to one William Cotter< no role > of St Mary
Whitechapel Middx Carpenter where she Continued with
him for about five Years When this Deponent removed
with her said Master into Queen street in the parish
of St Botolph with Aldgate in the sd County Where she
Continued with her sd Master as his Apprentice for upwards
of the space of three months When her sd Master went
from thence to places to her unknown & left her
behind & she never afterwards lived with him elsewhere
That Since such her Apprenticeship and her said
husbands death she has not been married or done
any Act to gain a Settlement for herself.
