Ann Hardman< no role > the widow of John
Hardman
< no role > deced maketh oath that about nine
years ago her Said late husband took & rented a
house Called the Hand Tavern in Bermondsey Street
in the Parish of St Mary Magdalen Bermondsey
in the County of Surry at the yearly rent of
forty pounds as She this Deponent now best recollects
or remembers & resided thereon for the Space of
a Quarter of a year & paid rent for the Same That
her Sd husband did not afterwards rent a house
or other Tenement of the yearly rent or Value
of ten Pounds or Serve any Parish Office or pay
any Poors Rates or Kings Taxes or do any Act
to her knowledge or belief to gain a subsequent
Settlement nor hath She this Deponent since
his death done any Act to gain a Settlement
for herself and that She was lawfully married
to her Said husband
