William Reeves< no role > a Soldier in the
Second Regiment of foot Guards maketh oath that
about five years ago he this Deponent went with his
Wife & Children from the Parish of St Botolph witht
Aldgate in the Sd County to the dwelling house of one
Mr Howell a Fishmonger situate in the Minories in
the Parish of St Botolph without Aldgate in the City
of London & there took & rented of the Sd Mr Howell at
the yearly rent of Sixteen Pounds Clear of all deductions
part of Such house to wit the Kitchen the Dining room
a Bed Chamber & Cellar in which room Called the
Kitchen this Depont carried on his Trade or business
of a Gunstock maker & resided thereon for the Space
of eleven months & paid twelve pounds being three
Quarters rent for the same but no taxes That he this
Deponent furnished such part of the Sd house so rented
by him & held the Same intirely to himself during
the time aforesd That there was only one door & one
Stair Case to the Sd house which were used in Common
by this Depont the Sd Mr Howell & other Persons who
resided in the Sd house That the yearly rent paid for such
house by the Sd Mr Howell to the Landford thereof
was Thirty Pounds as he this Depont has been informed
by him & believes That he this Depont has not since
rented a house or other Tenement of the Yearly rent or
Value of ten Pounds or Servd any Parish Office or paid
any Poors Rates or Kings Taxes or done any Act to
gain a Subsequent Settlement
