Ann Bolton< no role > Singlewoman maketh
oath that she has been informed by her Grandmother
Bridged Sargeant< no role > & which she believes to be true that her
late Father John Bolton< no role > deced heretofore rented a house
in Baileys Place in the Parish of St Botolph without
Aldgate in the Said County & was Charged to & paid Poors
Rates & Kings Taxes for the same & died there legally
Settled in the sd Parish That she this Depont in the
Year 1774 was bound an Apprentice to Messieurs Ann< no role >
& Sarah Cuff< no role > of Cartwright Street Rosemary Lane
in the sd Parish Mantua makers for three years
but for West of the Stamp Duty being Paid for the
Consn money mentioned in the sd Indre this Deponent
is advised & believes that such Indre & Apprenticeship
are a mere Nullity & wholy void That she this Depont
was never Married nor ever lived as a hired servant
for a year nor ever did any Act to gain a settlement in
her own right save as aforesaid.
