Sarah Lanyon< no role > Singlewoman maketh oath
that her late Parents have informed her and which She
believes to be true that they were both born in the Parish of
Saint Botolph without Aldgate in the Said County and this
Deponent can give no other Account respecting their
Settlement That She this Deponent was born in Sun Yard
in the Said Parish & never was bound Apprentice nor ever
lived as a hired servant for a year nor was ever married
Nor ever did any Act to gain a settlement in her own right

Mary Stevens< no role > the widow of Peter Stevens< no role >
deced maketh oath that her Said late husband has informed her
& Which She believes to be true That he duly Served the last
three years of Apprentice ship with one Mr Drew a Gunsmith
in the Parish of Saint Botolph without Aldgate in the Said
County & by means thereof gained a legal Settlement there & that
to this Deponts Knowledge or belief her Said husband did not
afterwards Rent a house of Ten Pounds a year or upwards or
Serve any Parish office or pay any Poors Rates or Kings Taxes
or do any Act to gain another settlement Nor hath She this
Deponent since his death done any Act to gain a settlement
for herself & that she hath a Child named Peter Stevens< no role > aged
about nine years the lawful Issue of this Deponent by her Said
late husband to whom She was lawfully married
