Ann Blake< no role > Singlewoman Maketh oath That about
twelve Years ago a Marriage or Prentended Marriage was had between
her & one Benjamin Terroll< no role > a Montross in his Majesties Service
at Woolwich in Kent where She this Depont then lived as a Servant
That She was afterwards removed by a Pass order from Woolwich
to Church Higborne in Berkshire as being the Place of the said
Benjn. Terrolls< no role > last legal Settlement That it afterwards appearing
that her Marriage with the Said Benjn Terroll< no role > was void by reason
he had a lawful Wife living at the true of Such this Deponents
Marriage She was there upon removed from Such place of Settlement
of the Sd Benjn. Terroll< no role > to her last legal Settlement being at
Stratford Bow in the County of Middlesex which Settlement was
lawfully Acquired by her being hired & living as a hired Servant by
the Year at Certain yearly Wages with one Mrs Lofty there and
her Continuing in Such Service for the Space of a year and upwards
That She this Depont. has not Since lived as a hire Servant for a year
nor done any Act to gain a Subsequent Settlement That She hath
a Child Named Susanna< no role > & aged Eleven Years by the Said Benjn
Terroll
< no role > who by reason of this Depont. Marriage being illegal &
Void is illegitimate & a Bastard & was born in the Said Parish
of Stratford Bow & has done no Act to gain a Settlement in her
Own right
