Ann Pilson< no role > the wife of John Pilson< no role > maketh
oath That She hath been informed by her Said husband (and Which
information She believes to be true) That divers Years ago he
was hired and lived as a hired Servant by the year with one Mr
Gooding a Pawn Broker in Dowling Street in the Parish of
St George Hanover Square in the County of Middlesex at
Certain Yearly Wages and Continued in Such Service there
for the Space of a year & upwards and by means thereof as
She this Depont. is advised her Said husband gained a legal
Settlement in the Said Parish And this Depont. Saith that to
her knowledge information or belief her Said husband hath
not Since rented a house of the yearly Rent or Value of Ten
Pounds nor Served any Parish offices nor Paid any Poors
Rates or Kings Taxes nor done any Act Since his living as
a hired Servant in the Said Parish to gain a Subsequent
Settlement.
