Continued Wednesday July 26th. 1797

That the Committee had audited the Accounts of both
Hospitals for the last three months and that the Sums
which were in the hands of the different Officers amounted
to £2551-18-11½

At this Court John Martin Leake< no role > Junr Esqr was elected and the
Treasurer appointed Thomas Bolton< no role > of Norfolk Street in the Strand
Esqr , and His Grace the Duke of Bedford was nominated by the
Right Honorable the Earl of Lauderdale and John Milward< no role > of
Artillery Place Esqr was nominated by William Collier< no role > Esqr to be
Governors of these Hospitals and the Charge was read to John
Roberts
< no role > Esqr and Daniel Robinson< no role > Esqr

Ordered that the Consideration of the above nominations be
referred to the House Committee

Security Bonds of
Officers Etc. examd.
& Deposited in Chest.


At this Court the Security Bonds of the Treasurer, the Clerk
the Steward of Bridewell, and the Steward of Bethlem and the
Lincolnshire Receiver were examined and deposited in the Iron
Chest

The Court then proceeded to the Election of a Porter's Man
