And had Ordered that the Surveyor should prepare
an Estimate of the expence of painting and varnishing
the Court Room. Also an Estimate of the expence of-
painting and repairing the inside of the Chapel
including the alteration proposed by the Chaplain.
And that the Committee had audited Bills
amounting to £214-7-8.
The Minutes of the Bethlem Committee of the following
days were read and confirmed whereby it appeared
Thursday May 10th.
That the Surveyor having laid before the Committee
an Estimate of the Fixtures Etc necessary for compleating
the Men's Privies amounting to £95-,,-,, the
Committee had ordered that the same should be
compleated forthwith.
That the Committee had contracted for 140 Chaldrons
of Coals at £1-18-9 Chaldron.
That the Poor's Boxe's were opened wherein was found
£9-4-8½
And that the Committee had audited Tradesmen's
Bills amounting to £1131-14-,,
The Minutes of the Committee of Auditors of the 21st July
instant were read and confirmed whereby it appeared
