Continued Thursday 1st. March 1798 .

The Minutes of the Bethlem Committee of the 23rd.
February last were Read and Confirmed Whereby it appeared

That the Committee had Ordered that the Surveyor
should give Directions for Sundry Necessary Repairs
to be done to the Hospital Agreeably to his Particu [..]
and Estimate of £96.

And had Ordered that a Shower Bath should be
Prepared for the use of the Patients.

Governors of these Hospitals .

And upon the Question being put Whether Jonathan
Miles
< no role > Esquire should be Elected a Governor of these
Hospitals It was carried in the Negative.

Benefn. of £50 Repd.


The Treasurer Reported that he had Received from
William Salt< no role > of the Poultry Esqr . a Benefaction of
£50. for the use of both Hospitals

Mr. Salt, Nomd. a Govr.


Resolved That the Thanks of the Court be Communi-
-cated to Mr. Salt for his kind and Charitable Donation
and that he be put in Nomination as a Governor and
That the Consideration thereof be Referred to the House
Committee.
