Vacancy of by the
decease of Mr. Rundle


At this Court the vacancy of First Beadle , Temporary Porter
and Chapel Clerk was declared occasioned by the death of William
Rundle
< no role > and at the same time Richard Morrall< no role > praying to be
appointed first Beadle and Chapel Clerk and the other Beadles praying
to be removed according to Seniority and that Thomas Underhill< no role > the
Porters Man might be Junior Beadle it was ordered accordingly

At this Court the vacancy of a Porters Man was declared in the
room of Thomas Underhill< no role > removed to be Junior Beadle and it
was ordered that the Election of a Porter's Man be at the next General
Court

Appointed Temporary
Porter


Ordered that Richard Morrall< no role > be appointed Temporary Porter
during the pleasure of the Court and that a Salary of £20 per
Annum, to commence from Michaelmas last, be paid him on
that Account.

Ruddle Mary< no role >
Temporary Matron


Resolved that it be referred to the Prison Committee to consider
what Salary should be paid to Mary Rundle the Temporary Matron
and Widow of William Rundle< no role > the late Temporary Porter in lieu
of the Salary of £30 allowed to her in the life time of her Husband
for executing that Office

made Free .

Ordered that William Briggs< no role > late Apprentice to William
Scripps
< no role > be paid £10 out of Mr Lock's Gift and that George Thompson< no role >
