General Court to consider from what period the additional Salary of
£58 per Annum resolved to be granted to the Steward of Bridewell shall
commence
Whereupon the Court resolved that the same should commence
from Midsummer 1792 the Period from whence the additional duly
and responsibility attached to his Office and Ordered the Treasurer do
pay the same from that time to the Steward accordingly

A Petition was read from
Richard Weaver< no role >
the third Beadle
stating that he had a Wife and Five Children four of whom were
entirely dependant upon him for support and that from the great
increase in the price of all the Necessaries of Life he found it
almost impossible with his present Salary to support himself
and Family and praying that the Court would take his situation
into consideration
Ordered that the said Petition be referred to the House Committee
and that they be desired to consider and report to the next General
Court whether any and what increase should be made in the
Salaries of the Beadles and other Officers belonging to this
Hospital.
