Continued Friday 23d. Septr. 1785.

Which we are of Opinion with the Alterations and Additions
made thereto by this Committee are necessary to be Confirmed and
Established for the good Government of the said Hospital (that is to say)

That he shall enter the Names of all the Patients the Parishes
in which are their respective Settlements and the Names and
Places of abode of their Securities.

That he shall enter in a Book all Monies received by him.

That he shall take Care that all Stores not Contracted for be of
the best sorts and at reasonable Rates to the best of his Judgement.

That he shall Deliver out all necessary Bedding and Cloathing
for the Patients.

That he shall enter all the Patients Discharges.

That he shall adjust and receiver all Payments due for Incarables.

That he shall receive from Mr. Treasurer all Sums of Money out
of the Poors Box and otherwise as are requisite to pay the Bills passed
by the Committee.

That he shall superwise all the Servants and if any of them shall
be remiss in their Duty to acquaint the weekly Committee To take Care
that the Orders for the good Government of the Hospital be stickly
Observed and if he finds any disorder or mismanagement he is to
Acquaint the Committee.

That he shall see performed all casual Orders of the Court Committee
or Treasurer.

That he shall go round the Galleries and up into the Chequers both
on the Mens and Womens side every Monday Wednesday and
Friday in the Forenoon to see that the Galleries and Cells are kept as
clean and neat as the Condition of the Patients will Admit and that
such Patients us are not fit to be exposed are property confirmed that is
the Wickets of the Doors kept shut as well as the Doors especially on
the Womens side and that he shall likewise Order the Men and Maids
to open and sees that they do open the upper (Doors of those who are
thus Confined that the Circulation of Fresh Air be in no ways infreded.

That he shall Observe that the Glazing and Wives belonging to
the Windows be kepts light and in good Order and Cause the Men
and Maids to take away any Rags or other Nastiness that may be
