This Court being informed by Bamber Gascoyne< no role > Esqr . one
of the Governors of these Hospitals that he having received no Notice
of the Court held on 17th. of February last for a General Nomination
of Governors had thereby last the Opportunity of naming the Gentleman
he proposed It is Ordered that the said Mr. Gascoyne have now
leave to Nominate a Gentleman to be Elected a Governor of these
Hospital and he having Nominated Bamber Gascoyne< no role > Jun : Esqr :
of Parliament Street It is Ordered that such Election shall be
determined by a Majority of Votes at the next General Court and that
Notice of such intended Rection be inserted in the Summone's for such
Court

of £50 reported and proposed
as a Governor


The Right Houble the Lord Mayor Treasurer reported that
he had received of William Stevens< no role > of Old Bread Street London Esqr .
Fifty Pounds for the Use of the Incurables in Bethlem Hospital
It was moved and Sccended that the Thanks of this Court be given
to Mr. Stevens for his kind and Charitable Donation which is
Unanimously Ordered and that the Clerk do signify the sense of
this Court respecting such his benefaction
