The Right Honble Earl FitzWilliam being Proposed by
The Right Honble Lord Mayor Treasurer to be Elected a
Governor of these Hospitals pursuant to an Order of this
Court bearing date the 29th. day of May 1775 It is Ordered
that such Election shall be determined by a Majority
of Votes at the next General Court and that Notice of
such intended Election be inserted in the Summons's for
such Court

Bethlem Hospital Steward
Vacancy Declared


At this Court the Vacancy of a Steward of
Bethlem Hospital on the Death of Mr. Henry White< no role > was
declared and Mr. President was pleased o direct a
Court to be held for the Election of a Steward on Friday
the 23d. Instant and Notice thereof to be inserted in the
Summons's And it is Ordered that it be referred to the
Grand Committee of Bethlem Hospital to consider what
are and ought to be the Duty Salary and Perquisites of
the Steward of Bethlem and to draw up in Writing and
report the same to the next Court and Mr. Treasurer
was pleased to direct a Grand Committee to be Summened
on Thursday the 15th. Instant at 12 oClock at Noon

Reynolds Thomas to be paid
£10 Fowkes Gift


The Revd. Mr. Bowen one of the Governors
reported that in Pursuance of an Order of Court of
the 21st. day of July last he had made an Inquiry and
found that Thomas Reynolds< no role > Junr . late Apprentices to
Thomas Reynolds< no role > was set up for himself in his Trade
and has the Character of a Diligent and Sober Man
It is Ordered that the Clerk do pay the said Thomas
Reynolds
< no role > Junr . Ten Pounds out of Mr. Fewkes Gift to be
allowed him in his next Account
