Continued Thursday 21st Novr. 1782 .

that it be referred back to the said Committee to reconsider
that matter and Report to the Court And it is further Ordered
that on the Committees further Report Notice thereof be inserted
in the Summons's

Dudley and Ward Lord Vist.
Apprentice proposed by him to
be put out preferable to all other
Nominations


A Motion was made and seconded and the
Question being put that an Apprentice proposed by the
Right Honble John Lord Viscount Dudley and Ward
one of the Governors of this Hospital to be put out in this
Hospital Preferrable to all other Nominations It is ordered
accordingly unanimously And it is further Ordered that
it be inserted in the Books of this Hospital That this
Compliment is paid to his Lordship as a small Testimony
of the high Opinion the Governors have of the great Services
his Lordship has rendered this and the other Royal
Hospitals in their late application to Parliament concerning
the Government thereof

Upon reading a Recommendation from the Comittee
of Bethlem Hospital bearing date the 21st Day of September
last under the Hands of Richd. Clark< no role > Esqr . Treasurer Henry
Cranke
< no role > Esqr . Audr . General Dr . John Monro< no role > John Brown< no role > Esqr .
Mr. Deputy Rogers Mr. John Sealy< no role > Mr. Richd. Till< no role > Robt. Sherson< no role >
Esqr . William James< no role > Esqr . Mr. Saml. Swain< no role > Mr. Deputy Parker
Mr. Philip Bell< no role > and Mr. Richd. Crowther< no role > in the words and
figures following Vizt. It is the unanimous Opinion of
this Committee that it be recommended to the General Court
that a Gratuity of £50 be given to Mr. Henry White< no role >
Steward of Bethlem Hospital as a further mark of the
Governors approbation of his Conduct and a Reward for his
Diligence and faithful Attention to the duties of his office
and the Services rendered thereby to the Charity All which
is nevertheless Submitted to the Judgment of the Court and
Ordered to be reported at the next Court This Court
having duly weighed and Considered the said Recommendation
doth Concur with the sd. Committee And it is Ordered that
Mr. Treasurer be desired to pay the said Mr. White £50.. to be
allowed in his next Account.
