Vacancy declared
or the death of John
Brown

At this Court the Vacancy of a Porter of Bridewell
Hospital on the death of John Brown< no role > was declared and Mr. President
was Pleased to direct a Court to be held for the Election of a Porter on
Friday the 17th. Instant and notice thereof to be inserted in the Summons and It is
Ordered that it be referred to the House Committee to consider what are
or ought to be the duty Salary and Perquisites of the Porter and report the
same to the Court.

Upon Reading the Humble Petition of William Rundle< no role >
Second Beadle Settingforth That the Petitioner had served the Office of
Porters Man and Beadle for upwards of eleven Years and had often
Officiated as Chapel Clerk during Mr. Brown's Ilness and since his death
and hoped to your Worships Satisfaction and therefore Praying to be Elected
Chapel Clerk in the room of Mr. John Brown< no role > late Porter and Chapel Clerk
deceased It is Ordered that the Vacancy of a Chapel Clerk be now declares
and Mr. President was Pleased to direct a Court to be held for the Election
of a Chapel Clerk on Friday the 17th. Instant and Notice thereof to be inserted in the
Summons's.
