Continued Monday 29th. May 1775

That for the future the Matron of Bridewells Salary be £60
a Year and no Perquisites. And that She be not allowed to Indulge any
Prisoner with a Bed except by Order of the Prison Committee or (in Case of
Sickness) of one of the Medical Officers or of the Steward of Bridewell such
Beds to be found at the Expence of the Hospital.

That for the future the Matron of Bethlem's Salary be £60 a Year
and no Perquisites except Coals Candles Washing one Pound of Soap a
Week and the Provisions of the House.

Porter of Bridewell

That for the future his Salary be £80 a Year and no Perquisites
paid by the Hospital and that he be not allowed to indulge any Prisoner
with a Bed. except by Order of the Chamberlain of London or of the
Prison Committee or (in Case of Sickness) of one the Medical Officers
or of the Steward of Bridewell

Chapel Clerk.

That for the future his Salary be £12..10s. a Year and no Perquisites
payable by the Charity. And that he find himself a Suit of Black Cloath's

Porter of Bethlem

That for the future his Salary be £57.. a Year a Suit of Blue
Cloaths. consisting of Coal Waistcoat and Breeches: a Fustian Frock
Coals Candles Washing and the Provisions of the House and no other
Perquisites.

Beadles and Porters Man

That the first Beadles and Sextons places be united with a
Salary of £50 a Year a Suit of Cloaths consisting of Coat Waistcoat
and Breeches a Thickset Frock and Leather Breeches a Hat attending
every Fire 2s..6d attending the Gate Lock up Days (as usual) and no
other Perquisites payable by the Charity.

That the second Beadles Salary be £44 the same Cloaths as
the first Beadle attending every Fire 2s..6d. Attending the Gate on Lock up
Days (as usual) and no other Perquisites payable by the Hospital.

That the third Beadles Salary be £34 a Year the same Cloaths as
the first Beadle attending every Fire 2s..6d. attending the Gate on Lock up
Days (as usual) and no other Perquisites payable by the Hospital

That the fourth Beadles Salary be £34 a Year the same Cloaths as the
first Beadle attending every Fire 2s..6d Attending the Gate Lock up Days (as usual)
Whipping Prisoners 14s. and no other Perquisites payable by the Hospital.
