Upon Reading the Humble Petition of the Inhabitants of this
Hospital and Precinct Settingforth " That the last Year Your Worships was
Pleased to allow an Additional sum of £36 towards defurying the Expences
of the Poor Watch scavenger and other Incidental Expences of the said
Hospital & Precinct. That Notwithstanding such Additional Aid then
remains an Arrear due to Mr. John Luke< no role >

That your Petitioners have Continued the rate for the Ensuing Year the
same as the last and as there is not the least reason to expect the expences
of the ensuing Year can be less than the last Your Petitioners humbly
pray that your Worships will be pleased to grant them the same Addition
aid and with all due gratitude Etc" This Court having taken into
Consideration the matters Stated in the said Petition Do order that the
Steward of this Hospital do pay the Chapel Wardens of this Hospital &
Precinct the sum of £36 to Enable them to discharge the said Arrears & the
future Support & Maintenance of the Poor of the said Precinct
