at Midsummer 1781 at the Yearly Rent of £60 And are or is also Intitled
to another Messuage or Tenement on the West side of the said Dock as
the said Christopher Masterman< no role > was Executor of Thomas Peacock< no role >

upon the 27th. day of March 1755 for the Residue of a Term of 21 Years

< no role > or her Undertenants some or one of them are or is possessed of
or intitled to other Messuages or Tenements on the West side of the said Dock and a
Concurrent Right (as one of Tenants of the said Hospital) to the Navigation
and Use of the said Dock and to the Wharfs Stairs and Crane; thereto
belonging (by Virtue of a Lease Granted by the governors of the said
Hospital bearing Date the 6th. of November 1753 for the residue of a Term
of 21 Years wch. will Expire at Christms 1773 at the Yearly Rent of £10.

We are Sensible that the Purchasing in of the said Leases would
be a very great Expence which we think may be Spared as a Sufficient
Avenue to the Bridge may be made and the Buildings towards the
North carried on whilst those Leases are wearing out We are
therefore of Opinion that the Arching over and filling up of the Dock
and Remainder of the New Cut and making the Sewer should be
Postponed and Compleated by Degrees as the said Leases shall
respectively Expire or can be purchased out on Moderate Terms but at
the latest within the Year 1781

We are therefore of Opinion that £4788-4-9 being the Value
of the Grounds and Buildings of which the immediate Possession
is to be delivered as Estimated in the Annexed Report (No. 5) shod. be paid
by the Bridge Committee to the governors upon the Execution of the
Conveyances and the Sum of £2453-7-9 (being the Value of the
Premises comprized in the said Three Leases or affected thereby should
be paid them by the said Committee at Midsr. 1781 when the last of the
said Leases will Expire

But if the governors shall be desirous to purchase the Materials of
of the Several Buildings B. C. E. F & G which under the Valuation
No. 6 We Consider as the property of the Bridge Committee the
governors must under take to clear the Premises as soon as Possible
carry away the Rubbish level the Walls with the Surface of the Street
and fill up the Vaults and Cellers in a Solid and Substantial manner
& allowing the Sum of £420 (which the said Materials are Estimated at
in the said Report No. 6) to go as Payment for the Works Enumerated
and Estimated in the said Report No. 4 All which is Submitted with
great Deference and respect to the said Committee by Gentlemen

Your most Obedt. Humble Servt
