Upon Reading the Humble Petition of John Sanders< no role >
Citizen and weaver Setting forth that he Served his Apprentiship
in this Hospital to Mr. Thos. Dunn< no role > one of the Artsmasters by
Indenture Dated the 7th February 1757 and by Order of Court of
the 7th. March 1764 he was made free of this City the 8th May
the 8th. May 1764 . and is set up for himself in his said Trade at
Mr Cashs Mount Street Spital Fields Praying a part of Mr
Locks Gift It is Ordered that Saml Seawell< no role > Esqr Henry Crank< no role >
Esqr . & Mr Deputy Rogers or any two of them be desired to inquire
if the said John Sanders< no role > be set up for himself in his said Trade and of his hopefulness thereon
and Report the same to the Court

Wright Chas< no role > . to be inquired
after for Fowkes Gift


Upon Reading the Humble Petition of Charles Wright< no role > Citizen
and Merchant Taylor Setting forth that he served his Apprentiship to
Mr Robt Hadwen< no role > an Artsmaster in this Hospital by Indenture
bearing Date the 10th. day of May 1754 and by Order of Court of the 7th
March 1764 he was made free of this City the 5th day of February
1766 and is set up for himself his said Trade in Chick Lane near
Smithfield Praying Fowkes Gift It is Ordered that Mr Deputy
Gamon Mr Saml Bates< no role > & Mr Maurice Griffiths< no role > on any two of
them be desired to inquire if the said Charles Wright< no role > be set up for
himself in his said Trade of his hopefulness therein and report
the same to the Court

Mr President having Reported to the Court that the
Committee of this House had no Objection but that George
Ireland
< no role > late Apprentice to Willm. Cox< no role > should be made free
This Court doth Order that it be referred to the Committee to
inquire into the Behavior of the said George Ireland< no role > during
his Appretiship & Report the same together with their Opinion
thereon to the Court.

& Vacancy Declared


At this Court Edward Grinsel< no role > one of the Artsmasters of
this Hospital attended and Signified his Desire to Resign
It is Ordered that such Resignation be accepted And it
further Ordered that the Vacancy of an Artsmaster be
declared in the Room of the said Edward Grinsel< no role > And
that the Election of an Artsmaster shall be at the next
Court And that Notice be Inserted in the Ticket.
of such Election And that an Advertisemt. be Published in
the Publick Papers 14 Days before such Election as usual
