Submitted to the Judgment of the Court And it is Ordered that this
Opinion be reported to the next Court

This Court having duly Weighed and Considered the said Report Doth
Confirm the same

Vacancy of a Beadle Declared
One that Death of James How< no role >


At this Court the Vacancy of Beadle was Declared in the room of
James How< no role > DeceasedAnd at the same time the rest of the Beadles desired
to be removed According to their Security and that John Allen< no role > the Porters
Man may be Junior Beadle , It was Ordered Accordingly

Declared


At this Court the Vacancy of a Porter Man , was Declared in the
room of John Allen< no role > removed to be Junior Beadle

Fisher Edward< no role > to be paid
£10 Mr. Fowkes Gift


Mr. Deputy Gamon Mr. Samuel Bates< no role > and Mr. Samuel Read< no role > three
of the governors Reported that in Pursuance of an Order of Court of the
24th april last they made Enquiry and found that Edward Fisher< no role > who
Served his Apprenticeship in this Hospital to Henry Heafford< no role > is set up for
himself in his Trade and has the Character of a Dilegent and Sober Man
It is Ordered that the Clerk do pay the said Edward Fisher< no role > Ten Pounds
out of Mr. Fowkes Gift to be allowed him in his next Account

Morrell Richard< no role > The like


Henry Kynaston Southouse< no role > Esqr . and Mr. Deputy Charles Vere< no role >
Two of the governors Reported that in Pursuance of an Order of Court of the
24th April last They had made Inquiry and found that Richard Morrell< no role >
who Served his Apprenticeship in this Hospital to William Heil< no role > is Set up
for himself in his Trade and has the Character of a Diligent and Sober
Man It is Ordered that the Clerk do pay the said Richard Morrell< no role >
Ten Pounds out of Mr. Fowkes Gift to be Allowed him in his next Account

Gratuity of £26 to Samuel
Mackley Porter


A Motion being made that in regard to the Extra ordinary Diligence
of Samuel Mackley< no role > the Porter of this Hospital a Gratuity be given him for
his good Services for the past And the Sum of Twenty Six Pounds being
now proposed and the Question thereupon put It is thereupon Ordered that
the Clerk of these Hospital do pay the said Samuel Mackley< no role > Twenty Six
Pounds as a Gratuity for his said Services

Gratuitys to Beadles and
Porter Man of 40s such


Upon reading the Humble Petition of the four Beadles and Porters Man
of this Hospital for their Usual Gratuities of 40s. a piece for the half
Year Ending at Midsummer last for their Sallarys are but Small It
is Ordered that the Clerk of these Hospitals to give and pay to them 40s.
a piece to be Allow'd him in his next Account

The like to Basket men
of 20s. each


Upon reading the Humble Petition of the Three Basket Men of Bethlem
Hospital for their Gratuites of 20s. a piece for the half Year ending
at Midsummer last for their Salarys are but Small It is Ordered
that the Clerk of these Hospital Do give and pay unto them
Twenty Shillings a Piece to be allowed him in his next Account
