And this Court the Vacancy of a Boad he was Declared in the Room of Joseph Fitch< no role >
Decreased Ordered that the Election be at the Next Court and to be incerted in the Tickets

be paid 10th. Mr. Locks Gift


Mr. Deputy Gamon and Mr. Samuel Bates< no role > Two of the governors Reported that in
Pursuance of an Order of Court of the 23d. of May last they had made Inquiry and found
that Richard Williams< no role > who Served part of his Apprentiship in the Hospital to Thomas
Keil
< no role > other part to James Farnsworth< no role > and the Remainder to William Cox< no role > is return for
himself in his Trade and has the Character of a Diligent and Sober Man It is Ordered
that the Steward Do pay the said Richard Williams< no role > Ten Pounds out of Mr. Locks Gift
to be allowed him in his Next Account

in his next Account

Upon Reading the Humble Petition of William Bunyard< no role > Cabinet Maker setting
forth that he served his Apprentiship in this Hospital to William Tarrant< no role > by Indenture
Dated 12 Febry 1756 and by Order of Court of 11th May 1763 he was made free of this City the
11th of April 1764 and is set up for him self in his Said Trade at Mr. Scarletts Carpenter in
Old Swan Lane near Cold Harbour Thames Street Praying Mr. Fowkes Gift It is
Ordered that Mr. Deputy Riley mr William Kinleside< no role > and Mr. Thomas House< no role > or any
Two of them be desired to Inquire if the said William Bunyard< no role > be set up for himself
in his said Trade and of his hopefulness therein and Report to the Court

At this Court Edward Fisher< no role > was Ordered to be made free of this City who sewed
his Apprentiship to Henry Heafford< no role >

Garatuitys to Beadles
& Portersman 40s each


Upon Reading the Humble Petition of the four Beadles and Porters Man of this
Hospital for their Usual Gratuites of Forty Shillings a Piece for the half year to
Midsumer last for their Salarys are but Small It is Ordered that the Clerk of these
Hospitals Do Give and pay unto them forty Shillings a piece to be allowed him in his
next Account

The like to Basketmen

Upon Reading the Humble Petition of the Three Basketmen of Bethlem for their
Usual Gratuities of Twenty Shillings a piece for the half year to Midsumer last
for their Salarys are but small it is Ordered that the clerk of these Hospitals Do
Give and Pay unto them Twenty Shillings a piece to be allowed him in his Next
Account.
