Continued Wednesday 7th. March 1764

of Ground at Wapping No.32 lately vested in Thomas Byron< no role > at the yearly
reserved Rent of £2 also Expired at Michas last That the Committee
have of made the like Order as to there Premes a Rent Roll had been
procured amounting to 22lb P And It is thereupon Ordered that it be
referred to the Committee of this House to Sett Lett and Demise the
said premes comprized in the said Lease.

Reported that in Pursuance of an Order of Court of 16 Novr. last they had
Made Inquiry and found that Richard Bates< no role > who Served his Apprentiship
in this Hospital to Jeffrey Gillingham< no role > is Set for himself in his said Trade
and has the Character of a Diligent and Sober Man It is Ordered that the
Steward Do Pay the said Richard Bates< no role > Ten Pounds out of Mr.Locks Gift
to be Allowed him in his Next Account

after for Mr. Fowkes Gift


Upon Reading the Humble the Petition of Richard Dollery< no role > Needle
Maker Setting forth that he Served his Apprentiship in this Hospital
to Sutton Sharp< no role > by Indre Dated the 7th of Decr. 1750 and by Order of
Court of the 10th. of Decr. 1760 he was made free of this City the 2d. day of
October 1761 and is Set up for himself in his said Trade at Mr Summons
in White Fryers It is Ordered That Henry Kynaston Southouse &
Elisha Biscoe< no role > Esqr . and Mr Chas Vere< no role > or any Two of them be Desired to
Enquire If the said Richard Dollery< no role > be set up of himself in his said Trade
and of his hopefullness therein and Report to the Court.

Upon Reading the Humble Petition of John Edwards< no role > Orrice weaver Setting
forth that he Served his Apprentiship in this Hospital to James Smith< no role > by
Indre dated the 1s day of May 1752 and by Order of Court of 26 July 1759 he
was Made free of this City the 4th Day of Febry 1760 and is Setup for himself
in his said Trade in Bunhill Row near Chequer Alley It is Ordered that
Mr.Samuel Read< no role > Mr.Samuel Bates< no role > and Mr.George Dance< no role > This name instance is in set 4335. or any Two
of them be desired to Enquir If the said John Edwards< no role > be set up for himself in
his said Trade and of his hope fullness therein and Report to the Court.

Upon Reading the Humble Petition of John Mercer< no role > Orrice weaver Setting
forth that he Served his Apprentiship in this Hospital to William Dell< no role > by
Indenture Dated 28 Febry 1749 and by Order of Court of 27 April 1757 he was
Made free of this City the 4 Day of October 1763 and is Set up for himself in his
said Fade at Mr. Giffiths Dealer in Coals in Castle Street Seven Dials It is
Ordered that Philip Dyot< no role > Esqr .Mr. Samuel Read< no role > and Mr. Charles House< no role >
or any Two of them be Desired to Enquire If the said John Mercer< no role > be Set up
for himself in his said Trade and of his hopefullness therein and Report to the Court
