Mr. Taylor Acquainted this Court he had reced a Letter the sd day of Decemr 1757
from James Leigh Perrot< no role > Esqr . Lord of The Mannor of Northleigh in Oxfordshire
and who holds the Impropriate Rectory of Northleigh with the Glebe lands Tylles &
Appurtes thereto belonging under a Lease from the Governors of Bridewell Hospl.
which will Expire at Michas 1759 which sd. Letter was read as followsWhereas
The Several Lands and Grounds of the Several Proprietors of the Open & Comon fields
lying within the Parish of Northleigh in the County of Oxford at present lye mere
intermixed and Dispersed in the said Comon fields & are inconveniently Situate for
the Proprietors and in the present Situation incapable of Improvement and if the
said Lands were Divided and Inclosed it woud tend greatly to the Advantage of
the Several Parties concerned and be a Great Improvement of their respective
Properties and Interest, But such Division and Inclosure cannot be Effectually
made without the Aid and Authority of ParliamentI hope the Governors of
Bridewell Hospital (who in respect of their Rectory of Northleigh aforesaid are so
particularly concerned in and will be so Considerably benifitted by such on
Inclosure) will join with me in Delivering a Petition to the Parliament for
leave to bring in a Bill for Dividing and Incloseing the said Comon fields
