into Consideration the Petition and proposal of

in the County of Middlesex

SettingforthThat he is Tenant of a House near Hand Court
in Holborne

which he held under a Lease from the Governors for 7 Years (which is Expired) at £25
P Ann rent clear of TaxesAnd is desireous of takeing a New Lease of the same
House in the Condition it now is from Xmas last for 11 Years at the same rent clear
of Taxes & to put the premes into repair & Execute a Counterpart of such Lease
And also the Petition of

(referr'd to them by the same Court) Setting forthThat he proposes to take a Lease
of the same House for 21 Years from Christmass at £8 P Ann rent clear of Taxes
and to lay out £60 in Necessary repairs & pay a Fine of £100 & Execute a Counterpart
of such LeaseThe said Henry Roberts being called in and askd to mend his sd.
Proposal said he wou'd Consider of itAnd being called in a 2d. time said he woud
take a Lease for 21 Years & lay out £100 in Substantial repairs with in 7 YearsAnd
a Person who came on behalf of the said Nathl. Morgan being called in & Ask't to
mend his said Proposal said he wou'd Consider of it And being called in a 2d. time
said he wou'd make the rent £8..8 - Where upon this Comittee having Consider'd
the said two Proposals are of Opinion to Accept the Proposal of the sd. Henry Roberts
And he being called in and Acquainted therewith Agreed thereto and gave half
a Guinea to the Poors boxAll which is Nevertheless Submitted to the Judgment
of the CourtThis Court having duly weighed and Consider'd the sd. report doth
Confirm the same And Order that a Lease be made to the said Henry
Roberts Accordingly.
