Beadles Gra 72 yr. Midsr. 1753

Upon the humble Petition of the four Beadles & Portersman
of this Hospital for their Usual Gratuities of Forty Shillings a peice
for the half Year ending at Midsumer last for their Salarys no but
Small It is Ordered that the Clerk of these Hospitals Do give &
pay unto then Forty shillings a peice to be Allowed him in
his next Account.

Basketmendo

Upon the humble Petiton of the three Beadles or
Basketmen of the Hospital of Bethlem of their Usual Gratuities
of Twenty Shillings a peice for the half year ending at Midsumer
last for their Salarys are but Small It is Ordered that the
Clerk of these Hospitals Do give and pay unto them Twenty
Shillings a peice to be Allowed him in his next Account.

as follows Vizt.It is the Opinion of the Auditors that in Bridewell
Account the Affrican. Stock £1240 which has been Sunk many Years ago
be writ off to profit & Loss in the next Account.

And that enquiry shou'd be made why the following Annuitys
are not paid Vizt. to Bridewell
