The Right Worshipfull The President reported to this Court the
Ballance of the Accots. of these Hospitals to Christmas last which
were Audited the 29th. day of June last the Ballance of Bridewell
being £3624.14.9 and Bethlem and the Incurables £12868..17.11.

At this Court Robert Pointer< no role > was Ordered to be made free of this City
who served his Apprenticeship to Robert Hadwen< no role > one of the Artsmasters
by Indre dated the 19th day of March 1745/6.

Pursuance of an Order of Court the 7th day of June last they had
made Enquiry and found that William Rolls< no role > who Served his Apprenticesp
in this Hospital to Corns. Morlier< no role > was Set up for himself in his Trade
and has the Character of a Diligent & Sober ManIt is Ordered
that the Steward do pay the Sd Willliam Rolls Ten Pounds out of Mr Locks Gift

Upon Reading the humble Petr. of Robert Pointer< no role > Tailor Setting forth he
Served his Apprenticeship to Robert Hadwen< no role > by Indre dated 19th. March 1745/6
And by Order of Court the 25th. of May last was made free of this City and is set
up for himself at his own house on Dowgate Hill faceing Skinners Hall
And praying some part of Mr. Locks Gifts to enable him it Carry on his Trade
Mr. Philip Bromfield< no role > , Mr. Chas. Gisby< no role > , & Mr. John Walton< no role > or any two
of them are desired to ensquire whether he be set upon his sd. Trade And of his
hopefullness therein & to Report to the Court.
