Rent clear of Taxes and to lay & at £80 in Necessary Repairs
According to an Estimate and to Execute a Counter part of such
LeaseIt is Ordered that the said Petition be referred
to the Comittee of this House to Consider thereof and Report this
Opinion there in to the Court.

have Lycence to Assign their Lease from the Governors of Bethlem
Hospital (No. 15) of several Houses and Ground in Old Bethlem
for the resideul of a Term of 21 years which will expire at
Laday 1759 to the Petr. he theAnd the Comittee are of
Opinion that Lycence should be granted as desired All which
is Never the less Submitted to the Judgment of the Court And
it is Ordered that this Opinion be Reported to the next Court
This Court having duly weighed and Considered the said
Report doth Confirm the same And Order that Lycences be
given to the said

as follows ViztIn Pursuance of an order of last Court This
Comittee have Considered of the Case of St Brides Parish Setting forth
That the Hospital of Bridewell with the Precinct here of was heretofore
a Royal Pallace and Granted by the Crown to the City of London and to
part used as an Hospital for the Reception of Handy Craft Freemen to
take Apprentices and Instruct them in their Trades and other part for
the reception of Vagrants and other loose and Disorderly person
where they are set to Work and the Precinct is Leased out

Contains above 100 HousesThat the said Hospital and Precinct hath
been always esteemed Extra Parochial & have no Overseers of the Poor and is
managed by Persons called Chappelwardens Therefore all Paupers who
have gained Settlements by Birth or otherwise and should have been provided
by for by the Inhabitants there when they become Chargeable to any other
place or Parish are Obliged to be Maintained by such Parish which is
a great inconvenience to the Parishs in and about Loudon and
& particularly to Saint Brides the Adjoining Parish
