Gratuity and the Sum of Twenty Six pounds being now Proposed.

do pay to the said Richard Pice Twenty Six pounds as a Gratuity
for his said Services

Doctor Rawlinson Acquainted this Court That John Bacon< no role > Esqr one
of the Governors had Caused £100 New So Sea Annuity Stock to be Transferred to
The President, Treasurer, and Auditor Genl. the Interest whereof to go
Towards the Maintenance of the Incurable Patients in Bethlem Hospl.
Whereupon Dr. Rawlinson was desired to return the thanks of
this Court to Mr. Bacon for his kind benefaction.
