Richard Shepheard< no role > James Clarke< no role > and Samuel Jones< no role > prisonors in this Hospital
appearing to be fit persons to be Sent into His Majesties Service at Ser It is Ordered
that the Steward do provide proper Cloathing for them at the charge of the Hospital
according to such directions as he shall receive from Mr. President

Govr. Elected


At this Court The Right Worshipfull the President Nominated and
the Court Unanimously Elected The Right Honble Arthur Onslow< no role > Speaker of
The House of Commons to be a Governor of these Hospitalls And ordered a
Staff to be immediately Sent to him

Apprentice


At this Court Luke Ball< no role > a poor Boy was ordered to be put out Apprentice
at the Nomination of Mr. Deputy Ballard.

Warder to preach a Sermon
the 29th May 30th. [..] &
5th. Novr in every year.}


Ordered that the Minister & Preacher of this Hospital for the time
being do preach a Sermon in the Chappell on the 29th of May the 30th.
of January & 5th. of November in every Year.

Ordered that Mr. Giffen the Minister & Preacher have an increase of £20 P Ann
to his Salary during the pleasure of the Court.

a Gratuity of £21
Ordered him}


A Motion being made that in regard of the extraordinary diligence of
Mr. Richard Pice< no role > the Porter of this Hospital a Gratuity be given him for
his good services for the time past since the Court gave him a Gratuity
and the Sum of Twenty Guineas being new proposed & the Question
thereupon put It is Ordered unaminously that the Clerk do pay to the
said Richard Pice< no role > Twenty Guineas as a Gratuity for his said Services.

The three Houses fronting
Fleetditch to be repair to}


Ordered that the three Houses fronting Fleetditch be repaired according
to the Estimate said before this Court amounting to the Sum of £366.10.3
