resignation of Mr: Cooke late one of the Governours Artsmasters the
Petitioner with

were Candidates for one of
them to Suceed the said Cooke and the said Ecent having withdrawn
his Petition the Petitioner was advised by some of the Governours to do
the same and gave the Petitioner encouragement to Apply Again when
any other Vacancy happened and the Petitioner accordingly withdrew his
petition and the said

was thereupon duly Elected on

has since resigned and
the Vacancy of an Artsmaster in his room has been declaredThat
the Petitoner has been a Freeman of London upwards of Twenty years
during which time he hath been set up his Trade and brought up
Several ApprenticesAnd the Petitioner being ready and willing to
take such a Number of Apprentices as the Court shall think fit and to
keep his Appartment in repair with Glazing Plaistering and Whiteing
at his own expence as is usually done by the Artsmasters & to comply
with all orders of the Court and Comee made and to be made in relation
to ArtsmastersAnd praying the Governours to Elect him an
Artsmaster in the room of the said
