Sermon to be preach'd on 30th
Janry 29th May & 5. Novr. every
year & the Artsmasters and
this family to attend}


The Artsmasters attended in pursuance of an Order of last Court and
being askt why none of them & very few of the Apprentices were at
Chappell on the 30th. of January some excused themselves being sick
& others being out of Town & some of can because there was no Sermon
& they being withdrawn It is Ordered that for the future on the 30th. of
January 29th. of May & 5th. of November every year divine service
shall be read & a Sermon preach'd in the ChappellAnd that the
Artsmasters & their familys do attend the same.

examine what is their
respected dutys}


Ordered that it be referred to the Comittee of this House to examine
report to this Court what is the duty of the Minister & Reader of this
Hospital & what their Salarys are & how they have been augmented.

Stone figures at Bethlemref
to Grand Comee to find a
place to fix 'em in the Hospl.}


The two Stone figures of Lunaticks which were upon the Pillars of the
Gate of Bethlem Hospital in Moorfields & are esteemed to be excellent
peices of Statuary having been taken down & found very much decayed &
damnified by the WeatherIt is the Opinion of this Court that they
should be preserved under Cover & that a Model should be made of one
in Lead to be put at the said GateAnd that it be referred to there
Grand Comittee of Bethlem Hospital to find a proper place where to
fix 'em within the Hospital& that it be mentioned at the bottom
of the Ticketts for the meeting of the said Committee that this matter
is to be then considered.
