Friday 1st February 1744/5

Mistake happened by the petitioners being intitled To Two other houses in
Wapping Street under another Lease from the Governours to the same Mr.
Merryhurst for the same Term of years which the petitioner thought were
comprized in the same Lease with the other Six Housesand prayed the
Governours that she may have a Lease of the said five Houses which she has
New built to comence from Laday 1755 for 42 years which is equal to the
time Granted to the petitioner by the before mentioned Order of Court at such a
proportionable part of the said Old rent of £8. as the Governours shall think
fitand the Comittee proposing the Apportionment of the Rent to be
£5 P Annum for the said five Houses clear of Taxes the said Ann Arbuthnot
Agreed thereto Whereupon this Comittee having considered the said Petition
are of Opinion to Grant the said Ann Arbuthnot< no role > a Lease of the said five
Houses for 42 years to comence from Laday 1755 at the yearly Rent of
£5 clear of TaxesAll which neverthless is Submitted to the Judgement
at the CourtAnd it is ordered the opinion be reported to the Court
This Court having duly weighed & considered the said Report doth
confirm the same & Order that a Lease to be made to the said Ann Arbuthnot
accordingly.

This Court being informed that on the 30th. of January last there was not one
Artsmaster and but very few of the Apprentices at the Chappell.
Ordered that the Artsmasters have notice to attend the next Court

Mr. Dance one of the Governours present is desired by this Court to view the
three empty houses on the South Side of the little Gate of this Hospital fronting
Fleetditch and to give his Opinion to the next Court what is proper to be done
with them

Chappel Wardens confirmed


At this Court Mr. William Atwell< no role > and Mr. Thomas Reay< no role >
were confirmed Chapple Wardens for the year ensuing.

Apprentice


At this Court Joseph Crosfield< no role > a poor boy was Ordered to be put out
Apprentice at the Nomination of Mr. Deputy Child.
