Upon reading the humble Petition of Edward Bevins< no role > of Brownlow Street Holborn
Bookseller Setting forthThat the Petitioner proposes upon the Governors putting
the premisses into Tenantable repair to take a Lease with such Covenants as are usually
contained in Leases from the Governors to their Tenants of a Messuage or Tenement
scituate and being near Hand Court in Holborn and late in the Occupation of Mr.
John Leeke< no role > deceased for Seven Years to commence from Laday next at the yearly
Rent of £20 payable Quarterly clear of all parliamentary or other Taxes what he
and to execute a Counterpart of such Lease but the petitioner is not be lyable
to pay any Taxes which may remain un paid the siad Mr. Leekeand paying
a Lease According to his said proposalls It is ordered that the said petition be
referred to the Comee of this House to considered thereof and to report their Opinion
thereon to the Court

That the Petitioner proposes to take a Lease with Such Covenants as are usually
contained in Leases from the Governors to their Tenants of a Messuage or Tenement
Scituate and being near Hand Court in Holbron and late in the Occupation of Mr.
John Leeke< no role > deceased in the Condition it is now in for Seven Years to commence
from Laday next at the Yearly Rent of £25 payable quarterly char of all
parliamentary or other Taxes whatsoever and to executer a Counter part of such
Leaseand praying a lease According to his said proposallsIt is
Ordered that the said Petition be referred to the Committee of this House to
consider there of and to report their Opinion thereon to the Court.
