Mr. President 's report of
Mr.Bishop having transferred
to him the Trear £4000. S [..] Cent
Bank Annuitys

Mr. President reported to this Court that Robert Bishop< no role > Esqr . late Treasurer
had transferred to him and Edward Holloway< no role > Esqr . Treasurer of these Hospitals
Four thousand pounds of and in the Three P Cent Bank Annuitysand
Mr. Treasurer reported that he had received all the Dividends due thereon to
Midsumer last pursuant to an Order of Court the 10th. day of July last.

Mr. President also reported to this Court that One thousand Six hundred pounds
Three P Cent Bank Annuitys which stood in the name of the Treasurer and
(which were purchased with One thousand Six hundred pounds South Sea Bonds
paid off) have been transferred to the names of the President and Treasurer

Upon reading a Report from the Comee of Bethlem Hospital bearing date the
2d. day of September instant under the hands of Edward Holloway< no role > Esqr . Trear Mr.
Richard Bridgman< no role > . Mr. Gilbert Malcher< no role > and Mr William Hunt< no role > in the words and
figures following Vizt.In pursuance of an Order of Court of the 30th. day of
July last This Comittee have considered of making an Infirmary for such
Patients as happen to fall sick of a Feavor or other distempers and they find
two Rooms above Stairs each Thirty foot long and Thirteen foot wide which
may be made fit for that purpose And this Comittee are of Opinion That by
the Addition of a Man Servant and Maid Servant to the Servants already
in the house, the Patients in the Infirmary may be attended and some part
of those two Servants time may be imployed in assisting the other Servants
to make their duty easier which is now very laborious to them And it is
Ordered this Opinion be reported to the next CourtThis Court having
considered of the said Report doth referr the same back to the same Comittee
to do therein what they shall think best & report their proceedings to the Court

Upon reading the humble petition of John Pearson< no role > Shoemaker settingforthThat
he servant his Apprenticeship in this Hospital to Mr. William Wenden< no role > one of the
Artsmaster s by Indre dat 23d. day of Janry 1732/3 and by an Order of Court the
30th. of April 1740. he was on the 15th. day of May last made free of this City
and is set up for himself in his said Trade at his own house in Brookstreet near
Cock hill Ratcliffe Highway And the Court being informed that the Comee
of this House on the 15th. day of July lastinspected the Book kept of Apprentices
behaviour and found no complaint against himIt is Ordered that
Mr Richard Bridgman< no role > Mr. John Whaley< no role > Mr Fletcher three of the Governors of these
Hospitals or any two of them be desired to inquire whether the said John Pearson< no role >
be set up in his sd. Trade and of his hopefullness therein and to make their Report
to the Court.

to this Court & the Portersman giving an Account that he had run away from his
Custody to Totenham Court Fair & Seemed very careless & unconcerned at his
Confinement & his Master giving an Account of his misbehaviour in several particular

than he Earns.
